DON HYMA

Managing Director

Don has over 30 years of international mineral resource project development experience across several countries including Canada, Chile, New Caledonia and Australia. Don’s previous roles include Director Projects for Fortescue Metals Group, Technical Director at Mitsui & Co, Vice-President Projects for the Iron Ore Company of Canada and General Manager Projects for Rio Tinto Iron Ore and he held senior project management roles at Falconbridge Limited (now Glencore). Over the last two years, Don has been an advisor to the Caravel Board on the Caravel Copper Project feasibility studies and implementation strategies and most recently was Managing Director at Adelaide-based, ASX-listed Australian Rare Earths Limited. Mr Hyma holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering and a Master of Science in Mineral Processing along with an International Executive Management Diploma from INSEAD in France and Singapore. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute on Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

ALASDAIR COOKE

Executive Director

Alasdair has over 30-years experience in the mining industry and more than 18 years managing public resource companies. A qualified geologist with a track record of successful exploration and project development. He is a founding partner of Perth-based investment and technical services company Mitchell River Group (MRG) which has established a number of successful mining projects including greenfield mines in Australia, Africa and South America.

JASON ‘VOSSIE’ VOS

Mining Manager

Jason is a highly experienced mining manager and mine planner with a track record of building and operating large-scale, open-pit teams. Previous experience has included similar roles at Perseus Mining’s Yaouré Gold Mine in West Africa, Harmony Gold’s Hidden Valley Mine in PNG, Pilbara Minerals’ Pilgangoora Lithium Mine in WA and with AngloGold Ashanti at Tropicana Gold Mine. Responsible for all aspects of the mine planning, design and operational preparation.

MICHAEL KLVAC

Approvals and Compliance Manager

Michael is responsible for managing the process of securing and complying with all approvals required to develop the Caravel Copper Project including the implementation of an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework to support the company in its activities. More than 25 years’ experience in the WA mining industry including roles with Hamersley Iron (Rio Tinto), Western Mining Corp., BHP and BCI Minerals in commercial, risk, business planning and approvals senior management roles.

BRUCE MCLARTY

General Manager of Commercial

Bruce brings 30+ years experience in mining commercial and permitting roles including for Hancock Prospecting (Hope Downs Iron Ore), Exco Resources and Round Oak Minerals.

CHANTAL HARTSTONE

Social and Stakeholder Advisor

Chantal has held senior corporate affairs roles across ASX-listed firms bringing previous experience from Wesfarmers Energy, CITIC Pacific Mining and junior exploration and development companies.
